Situated on land that once formed part of the historic Denbigh Farm, this park is one that incorporates its cultural and historic past. Camden Council appointed Greater West Landscapes to deliver this local open space.
Designed to pay homage to the agricultural roots that the area is famous for, the park achieves this in a variety of ways. Some of the highlights include a stylised steel milk pail, stamped concrete and rough-sawn hardwood fencing. The main walkway through the park parallels the heritage driveway, with the materials used as a way to also reflect the past history of the land.
This park is a great example of how historic elements can be highlighted and celebrated, whilst also providing a functional space for the community to enjoy.
